Our Creative Partnerships Project Wins an Award!

Our Creative Partnerships Project is run with our partners Riverside Business & Enterprise College, and on 15th May won an award together! The award was from the Leicestershire Education Business Company (LEBC) who aim to inspire and motivate young people by developing partnerships between schools, business and the wider community.
The award was for a 9minute radio show, entered into the 'enterprising radio shows' category sponsored by Wiggle FM at South Leicestershire College. The group of students who planned, presented, and produced the show on their own radio station - and were largely from Year 8 - beat even some sixth formers to the winning spot!
All the students involved received a certificate from LEBC, and will have their show played on Wiggle FM when it goes live to the local are in November.
The students have also been shortlisted to the final 10 for another radio competition this month - the Schools Radio Network. Fingers crossed!
